Ohh the pain of it all!
Well I did, not once but twice. First a power walk for 40 minutes around my suburb and then a walk home for 20 mins a couple of hours later.
My calves are killing me and my legs ache, and my lower back is a little sore. I didn’t realise how out of shape I was, it really took it out of me.
Next I need a plan, I can’t just go on random walks and magically lose weight, so over the next couple of days I will hatch a plan as well as do the scariest thing of all, share my stats! Yes that’s right - how much I weight, fat %, and girth. I will probably get all this done by Friday as work is nuts in the next two days.
I will now go to bed with following Winston Churchill quote as solace for my aching legs;
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.â€
Ok sure it’s a bit over the top, but it made me feel better

I think it’s a very brave thing to do Fat - soon to be slimmer then slim - Man - going public and all with your journey! Now that you are on your way, hopefully that’s the hard bit (actually starting) over with - ok that’s a lie (the state of your calves will attest to this) but where there’s no pain - there’s no gain!
