About me?

The question, “So tell me about yourself” is one of those questions most of us find difficult to answer. So I decided to split my answer to this perennial question into three sections, the first section is all that juicy personal stuff that you all want to know about. The second is about my professional life, terribly exciting stuff. Thirdly I thought I’d ramble on about my motivation for doing this crazy little thing called blogging.

I live in Sydney, Australia, I am 34 years old and married with one child, who is currently three years old and full of mischief.

Professionally I run a natural therapies centre with my lovely wife Natasha. I have been a Naturopath and Massage therapist for the last 15 years, two years ago we started our new clinic, you can visit our site at feelamazing.com.au feel free to have a look around.

There are many reason’s for doing this blog, one of the main factors is motivation, both for me and for people reading the blog, there is also a very deep sense of frustration motivating me. Part of the frustration is at myself, a fat naturopath is like a bald hairdresser or a skinny chef, it’s just not right! The other part is at the endless supply of diet books and exercise books that make no sence and are written by people in labs or who have never been overweight – this really bugs me. So here I am blogging my experiences and starting on the road to weight loss and fitness. I hope you all enjoy the ride.

Cheers Fatmanslimming aka me!

Congratulations for taking on the challenge Tony and congratulations for putting yourself out there like this, it’s very brave!!

You’ve made an amazing start and it will get easier, you too will become one of those sick and twisted people who run for fun! but there will be hard days where you wonder if it’s all worth is so If your looking for inspirations just take a look at your little boy and think about what a great example you are setting him!

I look forward to updates and hang in there

Congratulation’s.
Having started my own journey 10 months ago, I realise how truly hard those first steps are to take.
It’s not just about finding the time, the energy or even learning what steps need to be taken. I had to learn to push myself past my self-consciousness. join a gym and accept the fact that everybody there is there for the same reasons. No matter how skinny they are.
It’s great that now I can learn about your journey. Having have done the big spider web dance myself, I can appreciate the sheer terror of encountering one of the little beasties.
So Good Luck on you journey. Remember that it just takes one step at a time. I can’t wait to hear the next chapter!

You are AMAZING!

Hi tony
nice site you’ve got here

it’s cool that you’ve gone and motivated yourself to lose that extra bit of weight and in doing so made other people able to use the same techniques to help themselves.

good going

Kudos to you Tony,

I am on a similar Journey and am encouraged by others doing the same. The toughest thing was starting, but once the train gets going, it actually becomes fun and very encouraging. Thank you , thank you from teh other side of the world.

Anthony

I am so happy to see you turning all that help you gave to myself and to others, to yourself, you deserve it!

Don’t give up, the journey is worth it, just ask Mikey Robbins (sorry if misspelt) and keep up the inspirational work.

Thank you for having the courage to “walk” the “talk” so openly

Prayers always
Ali
